"Crysis 3" will be coming to consoles in the next handful of weeks, but for those who owe a Wii U, you may be disappointed to learn the game will not be coming to Nintendo's new console.
According to a report from VG24/7 yesterday, Crytek CEO Cevat Yerli said he would love to port "Crysis 3" over to the Wii U, but it won't happen because of what EA and Nintendo ultimately want.
"It’s a business decision between EA and Nintendo.
"I’d love to see it on Wii U, but what I love to see and what gets done at the end of the day are two different things.
"Even so, I could initiate it but someone has to sell it, right?
"If that business decision doesn’t make sense, or seems to not make sense for them, it’s… not possible for us to make it. We can’t publish ourselves, and that’s the bottom line," Yerli said.
Some games have been ported over to the Wii U since it was released back in November, but it is interesting to note to the disconnect between EA and Nintendo on this one.
The title will most likely prove successful, but the two companies simply do not want to make another port happen.
