Ariana Grande’s brother won’t be supporting her when she hits the stage to sing on Sunday night during the "2014 MTV Video Music Awards" (VMAs) and it might not be such a bad thing. Frankie Grande is a contestant on “Big Brother” and playing hard to win the game. According to TV Grapevine on Sunday, the show has revolved around Frankie Grande inside the house and what his sister, Ariana Grande, does outside the house.
One of the unfortunate things about the situation of playing the game is there is no outside influences. No television, no radio and definitely no internet. Which means that Frankie Grande doesn't even know that this sister is performing at the VMAs with Nicki Minaj and Jessie J. In fact he won’t get the privilege of watching the show until he wins or is eliminated on “Big Brother.” Viewers assume that he would be very impressed that Ariana is going to be on stage first for the show.
While fans can sympathize with Frankie Grande’s situation, it’s probably more important that he focuses on winning “Big Brother” as the internet star is on the home stretch and could walk away the winner. After revealing his true identity to the house, only time will tell if he made a good choice or if he goes all the way to the finish line.
Whatever happens, he has to know that his sister is cheering him on all the way. And while she might be watching every week, she too is busy pushing her career. Which includes the epic opening that everyone is going to be watching on the VMAs hosted at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
