"Big Brother" star Aaryn Gries was evicted on the Aug. 29 episode of the popular reality show after tons of drama. According to TMZ, Gries denied being racist despite the several racist comments she made while in the house. In fact, Gries defended herself saying that the reason that she said the things that she said was because she's from Texas.
"In Texas, we say things. Sometimes we joke and we don't mean it. I feel how bad it is being seen and how I've come across to people. I don't want to seem like that person," Gries told Julie Chen before leaving.
"Big Brother's" Aaryn Gries also apologized to anyone whom she may have offended while on the show. Many fans of the show, however, feel as though she is only apologizing because she has to go out and actually face the real world where people actually hate her. Evidently it is all sinking in now.
"I apologize to anyone I offended for that. That was not meant to be serious and if I said those things, I feel horrible for that. I regret that," Gries said. As previously reported, Gries was dropped by her modeling agency after racist and homophobic comments she made on the show.
"Big Brother" star Aaryn Gries might have a rude awakening when she realizes just how terrible she was perceived on the show (unless of course she's really that bad of a person in reality).
