'Big Brother:' The insanity has begun

On Sunday night’s installment of “Big Brother” the nominations of four guests took place on this new season of surprises, the two HOH were to nominate two guests each. But all 16 kept on scrambling some making friends, others making alliances and those who at first seem likeable and reasonable are beginning to become annoying, delusional and paranoid; such as Devin who made an alliance with six guys, then on his own decided to include Christine and Amber. He then proceeded to speak with Donny with whom he supposedly formed an alliance on the first day they met, was theatrical and made waves where none need to exist.

The nominations took place and Caleb chose Paola and Donny, and Frankie on his part decided on Brittany and Victoria, but there was “The Battle Of The Block” yet to be played and the couple that wins will send the HOH that nominated them back in the house as a regular houseguest and could be evicted. The teams had a slow start, but eventually got in rhythm, Paola and Donny were unable to fill their cup soon and enough and were therefore left to compete for the veto competition, and Frankie was dethroned as HOH.

It will be interesting to see how this all will play out, and as far as Devin is concerned he is digging his own grave by claiming that Donny is more than just a groundskeeper. The madness has started, and so far most houseguests seem intent on the competition, however, Devin appears disturbed and trying to plant a seed of discord among all. Also, there was no real valid reason for Brittany and Victoria to be put on the block, other than Frankie’s melodrama and desire to be in the spotlight.

“Big Brother” runs on Wednesday and Sunday at 8 p.m. EDT and Thursday at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
