Season 16 of “Big Brother” has officially started, and fans are excited about what lies ahead. There are a lot of twists and changes in place for this season, and it will be interesting to see how things play out. Fans are anxious for “Big Brother” spoilers, and thanks to the live feeds on Friday morning, the week 1 nominations have been revealed.

Caleb Reynolds and Frankie Grande are the two Head of Household winners for week 1, so they both get to nominate two people. As Big Brother Network notes, Caleb has nominated Paola and Donny. Frankie has chosen to nominate Victoria and Brittany. It seems both Frankie and Caleb justified their choices by choosing the houseguests who were out first during their respective HOH competitions.

Granted with the twists this summer on “BB16,” there is a lot more slated to happen before anybody is evicted. This season introduces the Battle of the Block competition where the two pairs of nominated houseguests face off against one another, and the stakes are high. The team that wins is taken off the nomination block. “Big Brother” spoilers from the live feeds seemingly indicate that Victoria and Brittany won, meaning they are off the block and Frankie is no longer HOH.

The Power of Veto competition should take place later Friday, so stay tuned for more “Big Brother” spoilers. Will the first POV winner shake things up at all regarding the nominations, or choose to lay low and see how things play out? There's a lot of buzz regarding targets for eviction this week, and it will be interesting to see just how quickly the hard-core game play starts.

Stay tuned for more “Big Brother” spoilers throughout the weekend as the players start aligning and strategizing. Do you have any season 16 favorites already? What do you think of the twists revealed so far? Tune in to “Big Brother 2014” airing on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights on CBS.
