On Thursday night’s live episode of “Big Brother” season 16, Paola, aka Pow Pow, was the second house guest ousted from the game, after which the remaining house guests vied for the two available Head of Household titles. On July 11, 2014, the winners were each required to choose two nominees for eviction who will then challenge one another in the Battle of the Block to determine who will be safe from eviction and who will be the reigning HOH for the week. Also, spoilers reveal the task chosen by the public that the members of Team America must successfully complete to each win their first $5,000.
Nicole and Derrick were victorious in the HOH competition and after much deliberation, determined who would be chosen to sit on the eviction block. Spoilers reveal that Derrick nominated Jocasta and Caleb, while Nicole chose Donny and Amber, according to Big Brother Updates Twitter page.
If Jocasta and Caleb win the Battle of the Block, they will be safe from eviction, Derrick will be dethroned, and Nicole will remain HOH. The reverse takes place if Donny and Amber win, as Nicole will lose the HOH title. Live feeds from inside the “Big Brother” house indicate that Nicole has told Donny he is simply a pawn because she needed someone to put on the eviction block with Amber, Joker’s Updates reports.
Those on Joker’s watching the live feeds also note that prior to the nomination ceremony, Derrick approached Caleb and asked him if he was OK with being nominated. Caleb apparently replied in the affirmative with the two men agreeing that Devin is the actual target. Essentially, it seems they plan to back door Devin if one of those chosen to play in the Power of Veto competition saves a nominated cast mate, as they can then replace the saved cast mate with him on the eviction block.
According to a tweet by Big Brother Network, Team America – Frankie, Donny, and Derrick – were given the task of getting three house guests to repeat the rumor that one house guest is related to a past cast member. They apparently decided to start gossip that Zach is the cousin of “Big Brother” 15 contestant, Amanda Zuckerman, which in reality, he is not. If they succeed, each of them will be rewarded $5,000.
