On July 5, 2014, in week two of this season’s “Big Brother,” the Power of Veto competition took place. House guests who were on the eviction block, the current HOH, and three other contestants played in the POV. According to those watching live feeds broadcast from inside the “Big Brother” house, on Friday night there was also a major blowout between players and a major alliance may now be in disarray, according to Joker’s Updates.
Spoilers from the live feeds reveal that there are four cast mates who are currently Have-Nots for the week. They were chosen by Devin and are Derrick, Brittany Victoria, and Zach, according to Big Brother Junkie’s Twitter page. In addition, the house guests that played in the POV challenge included the current HOH, Devin, the two nominees, Paola and Brittany, and three house guests, Zach, Amber, and Derrick. According to Joker’s, the winner of the POV was HOH Devin, therefore, he probably won’t use it to save either of his nominees.
On Friday night, the six man, two woman alliance, aka the Bomb Squad, made up of Devin, Caleb, Cody, Zach, Derrick, Frankie, Amber, and Christine, basically imploded after a heated confrontation between Devin and Caleb. Apparently following a talk in the HOH room between Devin and Christine, Caleb informed Devin in the "Big Brother" backyard that Christine was scared the entire conversation, Joker’s live feeders report. Also, Caleb told Devin he blows things out of proportion, as Frankie tried to calm things down. Devin threw out that Caleb was love struck with regard to Amber and eventually stormed off. But, before Devin left the confrontation he reportedly yelled, “There’s no more alliance, the whole thing is done...”
Joker’s reports that Derrick then informed Zach that Devin blew up the entire alliance because the kitchen door was open and other house guests heard the argument. Caleb later told some of his fellow alliance members he thinks he should tell the others that he and Devin were in an alliance, but deny the Bomb Squad exists. According to Joker’s the remaining alliance members agreed to continue their alliance without Devin.
