On July 18, 2014, after two “Big Brother” 16 house guests were crowned Head of Household, they were required to nominate a pair of fellow contestants for eviction. Shortly after the nominations took place, the four nominees took part in a Battle of the Block challenge, the outcome of which determined who remained HOH for week 4, according to Joker’s Updates.
On Thursday night, after Devin was evicted from the “Big Brother” house, the cast mates, with the exclusion of the outgoing HOH, Derrick, took part in an HOH competition called “Deviled Eggs.” The challenge continued after the “Big Brother” episode aired, and those watching the live feeds reported that Frankie and Cody were victorious.
Joker’s reports that Frankie nominated Amber and Jocasta for eviction, while Cody nominated Brittany and Victoria. The two pairs then fought hard to get themselves off the eviction block and in the process, take down one of the current HOH winners.
The live feeds indicate, according to Joker's, that Amber and Jocasta won the Battle of the Block, which means that Cody remains the reigning HOH for week 4. Thus, Frankie is now dethroned and returns to regular house guest status. This is the second time Frankie has lost his HOH status, as in the first week, he was dethroned when his nominees, Victoria and Brittany won the Battle of the Block and Caleb became the sole HOH.
