When the last episode of ‘Big Brother’ 16 aired on July 17 2014, the live Head of Household competition was underway. Devin had been evicted and the remaining house guests were placed into pairs for a challenge called “Deviled Eggs.” At around 10:30 p.m. ET, spoilers confirmed which two cast mates had won the HOH titles.

For this particular HOH contest, house guests were randomly paired and had to maneuver an egg through chicken wire while facing obstacles such as pitchforks and the falling of ashes. The first pair that were able to get 12 eggs into their basket each won HOH.

The pairs included Amber and Zach, Frankie and Cody, Brittany and Jocasta, Hayden and Donny, Christine and Victoria, and Nicole and Caleb. As the outgoing HOH, Derrick was not allowed to compete and looked on from the sidelines.

According to Joker’s Updates, when all was said and done, Frankie and Cody were victorious. Those reporting on live feeds from inside the “Big Brother” house also revealed that Brittany and Jocasta were a close second, as they were on their last egg when the two men won.

Frankie and Cody now must nominate two cast members each for eviction. Those nominated pairs will then compete in the Battle of the Block. If Frankie’s nominees win, he will be dethroned and Cody will remain HOH, but if Cody’s nominees are successful, he will be dethroned and Frankie will be the reigning HOH for the week.

Frankie is part of Team America, along with Donny and Derrick. In tonight’s episode “Big Brother” host Julie Chen revealed that the three team members must get someone nominated for eviction who they believe is a physical threat. Due to Frankie’s HOH win, it seems that it is virtually guaranteed they will fulfill that challenge, as Frankie alone must choose two people to sit on the nomination block.
