“Big Brother 16” has officially begun with eight houseguests already in the “Big Brother” house. The first Head of Household competition has taken place and the theme is “Go Fly a Kite.”
A short video clip of the first "Big Brother 16" Head of Household competition, also known as HoH competition, was released on June 24. It shows eight “Big Brother 16” houseguests dressed in beach attire and holding onto kite strings. Julie Chen is shown instructing them how to play the game and the winner will become the first Head of Household of the “Big Brother 16” season.
The eight new houseguests show competing in the Head of Household competition include Amber Borzotra, Cody Calafiore, Devin Shepherd, Donny Thomas, Frankie Grande, Joey Van Pelt, Nicole Franzel and Paola Shea. In the clip shown on YouTube Julie Chen, host of “Big Brother,” welcomes the houseguests to the “first HoH competition” of the season.
These eight “Big Brother 16” houseguests most likely entered the house on either Sunday or Monday. The remaining eight houseguests most likely entered the house on Monday or Tuesday. The remaining eight “Big Brother 16” players include Brittany Martinez, Caleb Reynolds, Christine Brecht, Derrick Levasseur, Hayden Voss, Jocasta Odom, Victoria Rafaeli and Zach Rance.
When the second set of “Big Brother 16” houseguests compete in their Head of Household competition, this will add a new dimension to the game this year. There will be two Head of Households each week. Each HoH will nominate two houseguests for eviction. The Heads of Households will go head to head in the new Battle of the Block competition. This is a new twist to the “Big Brother” game this season. With the Battle of the Block competition, winning an HoH competition will not guarantee safety the week they win.
“Big Brother 16” premieres on Wednesday, June 25 at 8 pm ET on CBS. Viewers will meet the first set of eight houseguests during the first night. On Thursday, June 26 fans will then meet the second set of eight houseguests.
