Big Brother 16” has had its first of a two night premier and the host Julie Chen explained to the first eight houseguests that there is a new twist this season. There will be two Head of Households each week.

But another twist, one that has not been told to the “Big Brother 16” houseguests is the “Team America” twist, which Julie Chen explained to viewers on Wednesday, June 25. This twist will involve three members that viewers will choose and they will form a secret alliance and perform secret missions throughout the season.

Fans were asked to choose with whom they would like to form an alliance. For each houseguest there was a post on the “Big Brother 16” website. The houseguests were asked which type of person with whom they would like to form an alliance. Each “Big Brother 16” houseguest gave an answer outlining what kind of person who they would like to form an alliance.

Fans got to read these answers and voted for their favorites based on the information provided by each houseguest. Fans were permitted to vote 10 times and their votes could be for one houseguest or they could split their vote. The person who gets the most votes will be the first member of the “Team America Alliance.

The second night of the “Big Brother 16” premier will take place on Thursday, June 26 when the final eight houseguests move in and compete for the Head of Household for their group. The winner of the “Team America” vote will be announced.

The dueling Head of Household winners will each have their own HoH suite for the week. Each Head of Household will nominate two “Big Brother” houseguests for eviction. The HoH’s will participate in a completion called “Battle of the Block.” The loser of that competition will not be saved from eviction and the winner will be the sole Head of Household.

Tonight, Wednesday, June 25, Frankie Grande won the first Head of Household completion. Amber Borzota appeared as if she might win the challenge but she decided at the last second to throw it, leaving Frankie Grande, a YouTube personality the winner.
