"Big Brother 16" continued July 3 on CBS with the live eviction of make-up artist Joey Van Pelt and the crowning of two new heads of household in esthetician Amber Borzotra and motorcycle sales manager Devin Shepherd. The action continued July 4 via the show's live feeds as four more house guests were nominated for eviction and one head of household was dethroned.

With event coordinator Brittany Martinez in his cross-hairs for the week, Devin placed the single mom of three and DJ Paola "Pao Pao" Shea, who survived the first elimination, on the block. After insisting that they not take the move personally and assuring them that they could beat Devin's nominees during the Battle of the Block, Amber nominated pedicab driver Hayden Voss and recent nursing grad Nicole Franzel.

Although Nicole and Hayden could likely have legitimately defeated Paola and Brittany, Devin assured himself the single available head of household position by promising Paola that she would have two more weeks of safety in the house if she would throw the competition. She complied, leaving herself and Brittany in danger of getting the boot during the July 10 live eviction. The move could be a bad one for Paola if Brittany scores the week's coveted Power of Veto.

Amber's willingness to cater to Devin's wishes prompted scorn from at least three house guests following the Battle of the Block competition. Hayden and sales account executive Cody Calafiore labeled her a weak player for sacrificing her head of household status in order to further Devin's plan to boot Brittany. During a conversation with Brittany, Paola offered up similar criticism, noting that she preferred to be friends with strong-minded people over those like Amber.

Much of Twitterverse echoed the players' thoughts. User @IDSDM summed up the sentiments of many by tweeting "Amber's nominations were cringe worthy. She's a comp beast, but such a sheep tbh. #BB16."

"Big Brother 16" continues live throughout the day and nighttime hours via the show's live feed. It returns to CBS on July 6.
