Two house guests must vie for the Power of Veto on the July 16, 2014 episode of “Big Brother” 16, as they face a possible boot from the house during the live eviction show on Thursday. If either one of the nominated cast mates wins the POV, he or she will no doubt use it to get off the block. If that happens the current Head of Household will be forced to nominate another cast member to replace the saved nominee.

Jocasta and Caleb are currently facing eviction after losing the Battle of the Block to Donny and Amber. Initially, Derrick and Nicole had won the HOH competition. Derrick nominated Jocasta and Caleb for eviction, while Nicole nominated Donny and Amber. Because Nicole’s nominees were victorious in the Battle of the Block, she was dethroned and Derrick remained HOH. That also meant that Jocasta and Caleb stayed on the eviction block in danger of leaving the game forever.

According to Joker’s Updates and those reporting on the live feeds coming from inside the “Big Brother” house, Caleb claims to have thrown the Battle of the Block competition to keep Amber, who he calls his “queen,” safe this week. He was also seen on the last episode of “Big Brother” proclaiming he purposely lost the challenge for her, which she seemed to find a bit odd.

However, from almost the first moment he walked into the “Big Brother” 16 house, Caleb has had a major crush on Amber and has not been shy about revealing it. She, on the other hand, has been cordial and friendly with him, but has not reciprocated his amorous feelings.
