"Big Brother 16" is getting ready to premiere on CBS and there will be some changes this season. There will be 16 cast members for this sixteenth season of the hit reality TV show. To make things even more interesting, there will be two Head of Households each week. Expect things to be much different for this upcoming "Big Brother" season according to a Thursday report in the Hollywood Reporter.
Fans are in for some surprises this season, each meant to help freshen up the now 14-year old CBS show. One change to the show is that the sixteen cast members will be introduced in two parts. The season premiere will run in two parts. Eight cast members will be introduced on Wednesday, June 25, at 8 p.m, and the other eight on Thursday, June 26, at 9:01 p.m. during part two of the premiere.
The new group of "Big Brother" contestants range in age from 21 to 42 years old. The most notable of the new cast is Frankie Grande. He is the 31-year old big brother of pop sensation Ariana Grande. Frankie initially auditioned for a role on "Survivor" but instead caught the eye of "Big Brother 16" producers. He also happens to be a YouTube personality with more than 180,000 viewers. Will Frankie try to conceal his identity on the show or will he be found out?
A huge twist this season lies in the HoH house. This time around there will be two Heads of Household and neither are guaranteed safety. This is huge game changer for the contestants and will have a huge effect on the way the game plays out.
This newest season of "Big Brother" will continue Team America where fans can vote for who they want to leave or who they want to be safe. They will also be introducing a new competition called Battle of the Block, which will be the competition where an HoH can be sent home.
