After an action-packed live show on Thursday, the Aug. 10, 2014 episode of “Big Brother” season 16 is sure to be interesting. First, the Head of Household competition will take place to determine which two house guests will hold the title. The two new week 7 HOH winners will then nominate two cast mates each for eviction. Those two people will fight it out in the Battle of the Block competition to determine who will be saved from the chopping block and which HOH will retain his or her title.

On the last episode, cast members changed their minds at the last minute and sent Jocasta packing, rather than Zach, the original intended target. Jocasta became the first member of the “Big Brother” 16 jury.

The episode included a second live eviction, and Hayden became the next member of the “Big Brother” 16 jury. But, host Julie Chen made sure to inform cast mates that just because they are evicted and sent to jury does not mean they are out of the game. This implies one will have a chance to return to the house sometime in the near future and compete once again.

Nicole and Hayden had become close, so Nicole was devastated by his eviction, as she was led to believe the entire week that Zach, who she put on the block, would be going home. In his exit interview, Hayden also told Julie he had been kept in the dark about what had been brewing in the “Big Brother” house all week.
