The two current Head of Household winners pick house guests to nominate for eviction on the Aug. 17, 2014 episode of “Big Brother” 16. In addition, the four nominees will take part in the final Battle of the Block challenge this season to determine who is safe and who is at risk for being sent to jury.
On the last episode of “Big Brother,” Thursday night’s live show, Frankie and Derrick were seen winning the two Head of Household titles in a challenge that quizzed all cast mates about an alleged zombie apocalypse taking over the outside world while they sat in the “Big Brother” house. Frankie and Derrick now must choose two house guests each to put on the eviction block.
The number of players in the “Big Brother” house continues to dwindle, so choosing who will be nominated is difficult. This is because Derrick and Frankie are in an alliance with Caleb, Christine, Cody, and Zach, leaving only Donny and Victoria on the outside of the group.
Up to this point, just two remaining house guests have never been nominated for eviction: Derrick and Cody. So far, Victoria and Donny are tied for the most nominations at four each, but have found safety every time by either winning in a Battle of the Block challenge, by being saved by winning or being given the Power of Veto, or because they were used as a pawn and their fellow nominee was actually the target for eviction.
“Big Brother” season 16 airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. ET, Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET, with live eviction shows airing on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on CBS. In addition, “Big Brother: After Dark” is airing Monday and Tuesday nights at 11 p.m. ET, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights at 12 a.m. ET, and Thursdays at 1 a.m. ET on TVGN.
