After Nicole disappeared immediately following the Battle of the Block Competition, she reappeared dressed in a frog costume to start “Big Brother” tonight, July 16. Nicole told everyone she had to stay in the costume for an entire week. Hayden thought she was the cutest frog. (Naturally).

Jocasta became very ill prior to the competition and threw up in the bathroom. The others started escorting her around the house, and Caleb and Amber stayed by her side. Later on, Caleb told Amber he threw the competition. Caleb wanted Amber to agree to be his date to the finale. She refused, and he couldn’t understand why.

Amber and Cody became closer. As Cody massaged Amber’s back in the living room, Caleb gave them death stares from his bed before storming by. At the chess board upstairs, Caleb asked Cody if there was something going on between him and Amber. Cody laughed and told him they were just friends.

Donny started working on Team America’s mission. He took Nicole aside and told her Paola told them Zach was Amanda Zuckerman’s cousin. As expected, she ran off and told Christine. Upstairs, Derrick told Caleb, who then told Amber. He and Donny told Zach, who went downstairs and told everyone it was true. They believed him.

Jocasta was suffering from dehydration and unable to participate in the Veto Competition. (She couldn’t even make it out of bed to pick players). Along with Derrick and Caleb, Christine, Devin, and Donny were selected to play.

Derrick pulled Donny aside to talk about what he might do with the Veto. Donny asked what Derrick wanted, and he said the plan was to backdoor Devin. Derrick was concerned Donny might not use the Veto because of the “Double D” alliance. Donny wouldn’t reveal much about his game play, since he didn’t feel Derrick had revealed much to him.

During the Veto Competition, one houseguest was selected and then had to choose another houseguest to face off against. Cody spun a wheel, and each of the two competing houseguests stood inside a giant dice block. They then had to roll their dice block around to end up with the correct number facing up on the platform where they started. Devin beat Christine and Derrick and eliminated each of them from the competition, but Donny took Devin and Caleb out to win the Power of Veto.

Jocasta was so excited Donny won the PoV for her that she literally started wailing and sobbing after she heard the news. Meanwhile, Devin broke down in the Have Not Room.

At the Veto Meeting, Donny used the Veto on Jocasta and removed her from the block. She started sobbing again. Derrick stood up and replaced Jocasta with Devin. Caleb hoped the plan would work, Devin felt he had a chance to stay after tomorrow’s eviction, and Jocasta continued to sob in the Diary Room about how she is usually the one giving, but now she got to receive.
