Big Brother 16” does not premiere for over a month, but houseguest casting rumors have been swirling. One of the rumors is that the houseguest will be made up of veteran “Big Brother” players and their family members.

Which veterans and their relatives could be back for the “Big Brother 16” season? A report on Friday, May 16 says that Rachel Reilly and her sister Elissa Slater could be one pair. Daniele Donato and her husband Dominic Briones could be another couple who may be houseguest in the “Big Brother 16” house.

Speculation over how CBS has cast “Big Brother 16” includes rumors that the houseguests may include Dan and Chelsea Gheesling, father and son Frank Eudy and Sid Vicious. Perhaps even Kara Monaco with an as-yet-unknown relative. Another name being bantered about is the controversial Aaryn Gries from “Big Brother 15,” but no one is sure who with whom she would enter the “Big Brother” house.

“Big Brother 16” had numerous casting calls across the country for new houseguests. No one is quite sure if the casting calls were a smoke screen for a possible “Veterans & Relatives” season or perhaps even another “All Stars” season. If CBS has decided to go with this format for “Big Brother 16” it would be similar to the “Blood vs. Water” season of “Survivor.” The two CBS reality shows share the same casting team.

“Big Brother 15” was the most controversial season of the CBS reality show ever to air. Many racist and controversial comments were made, causing CBS to issue a disclaimer not only before each episode aired, but also on the live feeds. CBS only addressed the controversy after “Big Brother 16” live feed subscribers took to social media to complain that the producers were doing nothing about the inappropriate behavior.

Speculation is that if CBS has another “All-Stars” season producers can control the amount of controversial comments on “Big Brother 16.” If CBS decides to go with a “Veterans & Relatives” version this season, and if Aayrn Gries is included as one of the houseguests, there could be even more controversy in the “Big Brother” house this season. Adding Rachel Reilly and her sister Elissa Slater may only add fuel to the fire.

Fans will just have to wait and see what is in store for “Big Brother 16” which premieres Wednesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. on CBS. It may be a season of all new players or fans may see some familiar faces. Some may be happy with the houseguests chosen to play the “Big Brother 16” game and others may not.
