Us Weekly had Andy's reaction Sept. 19 about winning season 15.
"I know that I stabbed everyone in the back," Herren said. "I appreciate a good game . . . I'm sorry I had to backstab all of you because I love all of you and I'm not a terrible person, I promise!"
Before "Big Brother" 15 started, Andy said in his initial interviews that he didn't want to backstab anyone and would do it as a last resort in order to be the winner. He's not so sorry that he'll give back the prize money, but nevertheless he has a conscious about how he treats people. As everyone knows, those who appear on the show know how the game is played!
What will Andy's reaction be to the remarks fans heard houseguest, Aaryn Gries, made during the live feeds about him being gay? Gries was one of the controversial contestants who referred to him as a queer.
"No one's going to vote for whoever that queer puts up," Gries said.
Strangely enough, Spencer and GinaMarie also drew fire for racist and highly offensive remarks made on "Big Brother" 15 all season. It was the most controversial "Big Brother" season in history. It made trending headlines over and over with footage from the live feeds.
As for Andy's overall feeling from what he learned after becoming the "Big Brother" 15 winner, he said this:
"I'm really sorry that the season may be seen in a negative light," said Herren. "If anyone was offended, I certainly am sorry. There are a lot of wonderful people in the house, and I really hope all this doesn't dampen the entire season."
The final votes broke down like this:
Spencer - Andy
McCrae - Andy
Judd - GinaMarie
Elissa - Andy
Amanda - Andy
Aaryn - GinaMarie
Helen - Andy
Jessie - Andy
