“Big Brother” 15 had its finale in September, but for Aaryn Gries, her actions and words from that season have come back to haunt her. It wasn’t until she stepped out of her “Big Brother” sheltered world that she realized how disliked she really was for her “racist comments, according to Wet Paint on Nov. 2.
Aaryn calls it the “worst moment in her life so far” after finding out just what people are really thinking about her. Since the whole thing happened, the blonde with the pearly white smile said she’s “been in and out of depression. “I’m not a racist in any way,” claims the “Big Brother” alum.
At least she’s owning up to saying things that were “insensitive and mean,” she said. This is what she is claiming during her recent interview. Aaryn, who is 23-years-old, also said that she is owning up to what she did and meeting it head-on instead of hiding and letting the dust settle.
The blowback from her “Big Brother” behavior has cost her a modeling contract, which was canceled due to her behavior on TV. She is still getting hate mail, which is subsiding, but still showing up.
The former “Big Brother” contestant has been traveling nationwide and she’s not only picked up new work, but she’s got herself a new boyfriend. She recently shared a picture of herself and her new beau at the Marine Ball in Virginia on Nov. 1. Her new, but unnamed guy is a Marine.
