Tonight’s Big Brother finale picked up with the first part of the final HoH Competition. Both Spencer and Andy struggled to remain upright while roller skating around and around, but GinaMarie coasted right along. Once they picked up speed, Spencer twisted all around before falling down and out of the competition. After rain and bubbles fell down, Andy slipped and fell, making GinaMarie the winner of Part One.
The second part of the HoH Competition was underwater-themed. Spencer and Andy had to dig through sand to find a crab with each houseguest’s face on it, climb a rock wall, and put them in the correct order in which everyone was eliminated. Andy was up first and quickly became very sweaty and tired. When he closed the treasure chest, the buzzer went off, and he realized he had switched Aaryn and Helen – once he fixed that, he was good to go. During his turn, Spencer struggled to get up the wall, so he thought about his brothers and girlfriend to get him through. All three houseguests then returned to the backyard, and GinaMarie revealed the times: Andy finished in 21:54, and Spencer finished in 36:11, making Andy the winner of Part Two.
Inside the house, Andy told GinaMarie he would take her to the final two, since he thought Spencer could beat them. In the Diary Room, GinaMarie broke down in tears as she worried about taking the wrong person to the final two if she won the last HoH Competition.
Dr. Will joined the Jury, and in walked the final Jury member, McCrae. He told them he knew about The Exterminators, and he apologized to Elissa. Dr. Will asked if being in the Jury House fixed their problems, and everyone weighed in. He asked if GinaMarie made the biggest move of the game, and Elissa, Helen, and Judd felt she had. Amanda didn’t think so, Aaryn said GinaMarie couldn’t be manipulated, and Candice would not vote for GinaMarie. The topic changed to Andy’s back-stabbing, and they agreed Andy was very well-spoken, while GinaMarie had been honest and blunt. Dr. Will asked why no one voted Spencer out, and Aaryn said everyone voted to keep him because they felt they could beat him.
In the final portion of the HoH Competition, Julie read Andy and GinaMarie statements from each of the Jurors. They then had to choose option A or B to complete the statement correctly and earn one point. Andy answered five questions correctly to GinaMarie’s four, winning the final HoH Competition.
The houseguests gathered in the living room, and Julie asked Andy who he decided to take with him to the final two. He stood and told Spencer his word was good to him his entire game, and he was one of his best friends in the house, but he gave GinaMarie his word on night one and had to evict Spencer.
Spencer left the house and sat down with Julie, who asked him about Andy’s loyalty. Spencer wasn’t surprised and said Andy had been loyal to GinaMarie the entire game. He noticed Andy had been avoiding him the last few days. Julie told Spencer he broke the record of the pawn always going home. Spencer said he enjoyed every moment of the 90 days on his favorite show.
Julie announced the Jury members as they all came out on stage and were joined by Spencer. The Jury was then given the chance to interrogate GinaMarie and Andy. Amanda asked GinaMarie her biggest game move, besides getting Amanda out, and she said putting Amanda and McCrae up and getting Amanda out. (She apparently didn’t understand the question after it was asked twice). Elissa asked Andy his biggest game move prior to joining The Exterminators, and he said aligning with Amanda and McCrae. Helen asked GinaMarie the biggest obstacle she had to overcome, and she said having Nick leave. McCrae asked Andy why they should vote for him after he threatened to be a bitter Jury member. Andy said he lied about that to worry them all and keep him and was sorry he had to backstab everyone to get them out. Candice asked GinaMarie why they should vote for her, even though she offended everyone. GinaMarie said she acted the way she acted when Nick left because she was shocked, and the money would change her life. Jessie asked Andy why he lied to so many Jurors, and he said it was because he was a coward and apologized to everyone again, telling them he loved them once more. Spencer asked Andy why he should give him a half million dollars, and Andy said because he promised GinaMarie on night one that he would never backstab her.
Andy and GinaMarie were each given one last chance to speak. GinaMarie told the Jury they looked awesome and reminded them they know her. She said she kept every deal she made and stayed loyal, and she is only GinaMarie. She added she was glad to meet everyone and apologized for offending any of them. Andy said he played the game with his heart and his mind and meant every personal connection he established. He added that he laid in bed every night and thought about how he could be a target the next week to try to avoid it. The Jury then placed their votes.
David, Nick, Jeremy, Kaitlin, and Howard also returned to the stage. Julie asked them about going home to watch the season unfold, but she first told Amanda America had nominated her for two weeks as the MVP. Amanda said she realized that when the audience booed her. Julie asked Howard what surprised him the most, and he said the severity of how the comments were taken. He couldn’t even watch the live feeds or After Dark because it was so infuriating to him. Julie turned to Spencer, and he said it was terrible and hoped he hadn’t said anything. (Go watch the live feeds, Spencer). Julie went back to Jeremy, and he said Helen used “the mom thing” to her advantage, which shocked him. Helen said she had real tears with Jeremy, but she had gotten emotional and put the waterworks on at other times.
Next, Julie read the votes: Spencer, McCrae, Elissa, Amanda, and Helen voted for Andy, while Judd and Aaryn voted for GinaMarie. The two ran out of the house and had confetti dumped all over them as GinaMarie bolted for Nick. The houseguests all hugged as the audience cheered them on.
Julie revealed Candice and Jessie had also voted for Andy before announcing America’s favorite houseguest: Judd, Elissa, and Howard were the top three vote-getters, but it was Elissa who won the $25,000.
