Tonight’s episode of Big Brother backtracked to Thursday night’s live double eviction. It started with Amanda’s exit from the house, when GinaMarie told her to “Get to steppin’.” Elissa went to McCrae to ask if he had voted Amanda out, which he had not. Andy walked over and continued his dumbfounded act, pretending he wasn’t the one to vote Amanda out.
After McCrae won HoH, his head was spinning, and everyone immediately went after him to talk. Elissa pleaded with McCrae and was near tears, while Andy yelled and told Elissa to stop lying. Even though McCrae could tell Andy was lying, he wanted to create as few waves as possible, so he put Elissa up to appease the rest of the houseguests. Once Judd won PoV, GinaMarie whispered to him not to use it and to keep the nominations the same. Elissa begged the others not to vote her out, and talk started about Judd’s previous eviction. It was clear to Elissa that no one was going to vote to keep her.
After Elissa left, McCrae had a break down in the lounge area, while “The Exterminators” hugged and celebrated in the kitchen. GinaMarie even did cartwheels and danced around.
Spencer went to Andy and McCrae, and the three agreed they needed to stick together, because it was three against two.
Then, it was time for the next HoH Competition. A pixelated image appeared on a video board. As the image became clearer, the houseguests had to put together a puzzle of the person’s face who won that particular competition. The slowest person in each round was eliminated, and the winner of the competition would hand out “gifts” to the rest of the houseguests. Andy was eliminated after the first round. Judd was out after the second round, leaving Spencer and GinaMarie to battle it out. For the first time all summer, Spencer pulled through with the victory and won HoH.
Spencer gathered everyone in the living room to hand out the gifts. He gave the gift of friendship to GinaMarie and McCrae, who had to wear a friendship bracelet and stay attached for the next 24 hours. Spencer gave Andy the gift of wealth, so Andy would have the chance to win $5,000 sometime within the next 24 hours. Judd received the gift of health, and he learned he had to follow the Big Brother drill sergeant’s orders and do any exercises he commanded for the next 24 hours.
Spencer pulled GinaMarie aside to explain why he chose her to attach to McCrae. He told her he felt Judd and Andy were shady, and he could trust her more.
GinaMarie sat down to ask McCrae if he had any special routines he followed through the day she should know about. He told her they should try the shower thing that night, and then he would be fine. They also tested out sleeping in a bed to see if they would be comfortable.
Spencer received his HoH Room and tried to read a heartfelt letter from his girlfriend, Marilyn, when Sergeant Big Brother interrupted and asked Judd to do 15 jumping jacks.
GinaMarie put her make-up on, and she and McCrae talked about who might go up. They agreed everyone was playing for themselves, and McCrae even suggested a final two deal. McCrae mentioned he almost felt like GinaMarie had a final four with the others.
Judd’s punishment continued…during bedtime, during dinner, in the Diary Room, and even in the shower.
To try to win the $5,000, Andy had to choose three pigs from three sections of shelves full of pigs. He had to choose just the right combination of pigs and smash them open to reveal the dollar amounts inside. He ended up with only $94.83.
GinaMarie and McCrae wanted to talk to Spencer, so they worked their friendship bracelet cord under the door and whispered to take turns and keep the conversation private. GinaMarie told Spencer that McCrae had no idea about the alliance, and he actually told her them being attached was a blessing in disguise. Spencer told McCrae he wanted to put GinaMarie up for sure and would probably put McCrae up with her so that no one else would see how close they are. (Spencer wanted to make McCrae feel safe, but McCrae could see he was being targeted).
As the Nomination Ceremony was about to begin, the Big Brother drill sergeant ordered Judd to do squats. Finally, once he finished, Judd and Andy were safe, leaving McCrae and GinaMarie as the two nominated for eviction. Spencer told McCrae he didn’t think he could regain his trust at this point, and GinaMarie was a fierce competitor.
