Tonight’s episode of Big Brother picked up after the Nomination Ceremony, which left Amanda and McCrae a giant mess of tears. Amanda was completely blind-sided, and McCrae wasn’t much better, as they each cried separately in the Diary Room. Elissa was impressed and told GinaMarie she made the best move ever.
In the bedroom, Amanda told McCrae everyone must have been in on GinaMarie’s decision, and she pieced together an alliance between Judd, Elissa, Spencer, and GinaMarie. (False). Amanda went to confront Spencer, who was sitting with Andy in the lounge room. The guys played dumb as Amanda tried to figure things out and went upstairs to whine to GinaMarie about how Elissa sent home Nick and Aaryn. GinaMarie told Amanda that Aaryn did things for her and McCrae, but when she needed them, they didn’t do anything. GinaMarie continued to explain that she needed to split Amanda and McCrae up as Andy and Judd scuffled in. Amanda continued her rant and got into an argument with Judd. Amanda had a complete meltdown and said she didn’t even want to be there anymore and couldn’t be with those people.
The meltdown continued as Amanda cried in the Have Not Room, and McCrae tried to comfort her. Amanda told him Judd and Spencer were lying, and he shouldn’t take them far. In response, McCrae said nothing as she continued to cry. They told each other they loved each other, and Amanda continued to sob.
In the Storage Room, Andy told Amanda to remain calm and collected. He tried to pretend he was still on her side, as Elissa stood outside the door and listened to their entire conversation. Spencer walked over, so Elissa told him to be quiet. She darted off, and Spencer went into the Storage Room to tell them Elissa was listening at the door. Amanda was frustrated again and stormed out of the room.
Next, it was time to pick players for the Veto Competition – GinaMarie pulled Elissa’s chip, Amanda chose Spencer for Houseguest’s Choice, and McCrae picked Andy’s chip, leaving Judd to host. GinaMarie also announced that Spencer and Judd’s punishment was over, and they could take off their chicken suits.
Upstairs, Amanda explained to Andy she didn’t pick him so he wouldn’t have to make a decision on taking Amanda or McCrae down if he won the Veto. He and Spencer assured her they would fight in the competition.
Downstairs, Elissa told Judd she thought Andy was working both sides of the house, so Judd told Andy. Andy immediately went upstairs to tell GinaMarie. GinaMarie explained Amanda had said “Yes” when Andy was picked to play in the competition. Spencer joined the conversation, and the three of them discussed getting Amanda, McCrae, and Elissa out. Judd came upstairs, and the four of them joked about exterminating the bugs in the house.
Everyone got to put tutus on for the Veto Competition. Each person had to pull a handle hanging overhead and spin around 15 times to lower the gate in their bowling lane. Once the gate was lowered, they could throw bowling balls down the lane to knock their pins over. The wall only stayed down for 15 seconds before popping back up, when they had to go back and spin again to lower it. Amanda was up first, so she chose Elissa as her competitor and beat her before throwing up in a bucket. Andy was next and followed GinaMarie’s advice in challenging Amanda, but Amanda won again. GinaMarie went next and also chose Amanda. Once again, Amanda won. McCrae chose Spencer, who may have looked the most ridiculous in his green tutu. McCrae won and then faced off against Amanda in the final round, which McCrae just barely won. McCrae ended up with a bucket this time, while Amanda broke down in tears on the grass.
As Amanda and McCrae sulked downstairs, GinaMarie talked to Judd, Andy, and Spencer about the replacement nominee. They quickly volunteered Elissa, but GinaMarie told them she couldn’t do that, since Elissa kept her safe.
During the Veto Meeting, McCrae gave Amanda the chance to explain why he should use the Veto on her. She couldn’t stop crying and finally told everyone she and McCrae fought really hard for the Veto, but if there was one person she wanted to lose to, it would be McCrae, so she would never ask, expect, or want him to use the Veto on her. McCrae used the Veto on himself, and GinaMarie nominated Spencer in his place.
