Tonight’s episode of Big Brother picked up during Thursday night’s HoH Competition. Spencer hoped one of the “Exterminators” would win, Elissa felt like a sitting duck, Amanda knew she and McCrae were a huge target, and Andy was ready to move forward and prove loyalty to his new alliance. GinaMarie felt she was on her own after Aaryn’s departure. As soon as Aaryn walked out the door, Amanda told Elissa she loved how they only talked about her taunting and not Elissa’s…to which Elissa reminded her that she didn’t taunt her.
The houseguests struggled to get their eggs through the chicken wire without dropping them and starting fresh with a new one. Spencer worried about having to wear a chicken suit, and McCrae tried to keep his hair out of his face. GinaMarie and Andy excelled in the competition and easily got much farther ahead of the others. In the end, GinaMarie came through with the victory and won HoH, but Judd and Spencer tied for last and would have to wear chicken suits. As Elissa congratulated GinaMarie on her victory, Amanda told her to wipe the smile off her face, since she just got rid of GinaMarie’s best friend in the house. Amanda reminded GinaMarie about Aaryn leaving, and stood aghast to the side as Elissa and GinaMarie hugged.
In the bathroom area, Amanda continued to badger GinaMarie and tell her how happy Aaryn would be when she sent Elissa through that door. GinaMarie thanked her; but in the Diary Room, she told us she may be cute, and she may be blonde, but her name isn’t Aaryn.
GinaMarie celebrated her victory in the Storage Room with Andy and Judd, and Andy told her they (Amanda and McCrae) would be all over her, but she needed to ignore them. Meanwhile, Amanda told Spencer and McCrae that GinaMarie would for sure put Elissa up. Spencer wondered if he would go up against Elissa and played stupid just to eavesdrop on their conversation. Amanda said she was GinaMarie’s new bunny. Out in the kitchen, GinaMarie told Elissa she was for sure putting both Amanda and McCrae up.
Spencer and Judd were called to the Diary Room and received their chicken suits for the next 48 hours, which everyone loved.
Amanda was all over GinaMarie as she touched up her makeup. GinaMarie lied and told Amanda she was definitely putting Elissa up, but she wasn’t sure of the second person. Amanda was happy and reminded GinaMarie that no one would care if Elissa or Judd went home, but people would be upset if anyone else would leave. As soon as Amanda left the room, GinaMarie looked at the camera and told us Amanda was crazy and going up.
Everyone made the trek upstairs to check out GinaMarie’s HoH Room. Elissa was excited for GinaMarie, but Amanda felt it was over the top and had to bite her tongue. Downstairs, Elissa was talking to Andy and Spencer in the living room when Amanda came flouncing in and plopped down on the floor to paint her nails black. (Fitting). Amanda told Elissa she was going up on the block, and when Elissa laughed at her, Amanda told her she was the only one laughing and called her a joker face and told her to “shove her joker face up her nasty ass.” (Mature). Andy and Spencer were clearly uncomfortable and left, so Elissa followed.
McCrae joined Amanda, who continued to go on and on about how much she hated Elissa. Outside, Elissa talked to the guys about how Amanda was treating her, so Andy suggested she walk out of the room when Amanda acts that way.
Once again, Amanda (sans pants) went to talk to Elissa to tell her she didn’t want to fight with her and felt she was antagonizing her. Elissa took Andy’s advice and walked out of the room, which sent Amanda outside to tell Spencer, Judd, McCrae, and Andy what happened. She instantly turned the waterworks on and said she felt like she was in high school again. No one bought her act, and GinaMarie came outside, so Amanda told her Elissa kept trying to torture her, and they weren’t in high school anymore. GinaMarie stuffed her face and nodded, while Spencer suddenly wanted more chocolate milk.
The houseguests came out of the HoH Room to find the house covered with huge balloons of every color. GinaMarie read a note that told them it was a luxury competition. In order to win the $10,000 prize, they had to pop balloons and find a chip with a “1,” a “0,” and a “K” on it. Elissa pretended every balloon was Amanda’s face, Amanda didn’t see the need to pop balloons when she could just shake them to find out if a chip was inside, and Spencer quickly surged ahead quietly with two chips. As each balloon popped, confetti flew all around the house and created a huge mess. It was Spencer who got all three chips first and won the $10,000. Then, the houseguests had to pop all the balloons and try to clean the place up.
GinaMarie and Judd talked upstairs in the HoH Room, and Amanda interrupted them, so GinaMarie told her she needed some more time. Amanda interrupted again and asked if they were making out in there or something. This time, Judd left, and Amanda plopped down on the bed in his place. She told GinaMarie everyone would be enraged if she didn’t put up Elissa. Amanda pushed her to put up Judd and Elissa as McCrae entered. Amanda told GinaMarie that Elissa had gotten rid of Nick and Aaryn before leaving her alone with McCrae.
Amanda went outside and told Andy she thought Judd and Elissa would go up, since GinaMarie seemed very receptive to what she was saying. Back inside, Judd admitted to Amanda he thought he and Elissa were going up; but in the Diary Room, he said he couldn’t wait for the Nomination Ceremony and was ready for some popcorn.
During the Nomination Ceremony, Andy, Spencer, Elissa, and Judd were safe, and Amanda and McCrae were completely shocked to see they were blindsided and nominated for eviction. GinaMarie struggled to say “dynamic,” so she finally just told Amanda and McCrae they were a huge power couple, and no one had the balls to nominate them. GinaMarie told McCrae she felt he lost his focus and fire, and Amanda was crazy, but that was one of the reasons she loved her. Amanda was immediately in tears. Even McCrae was in tears in the Diary Room, knowing one of the two of them would be going home this week.
