Tonight’s episode of Big Brother picked up during Thursday night’s live eviction. Candice and Judd were each hopeful to get back into the game, Elissa hoped Helen could get back into the game, and Amanda didn’t want to see any of the Jurors back in the house. After Helen left, Andy was his usual bundle of waterworks. Aaryn was nervous for a Jury member to come back, since she didn’t think any of them would like her after all the blood she’d gotten on her hands.
During the HoH Competition, Spencer and McCrae were the first two to drop as they each tried to catch a ball. Everyone continued to shout and scream in pain as they were pelted with balls, until a turtle and wolf mascot were sent in to dance and distract them. As they played, Helen told the other Jurors tidbits about what was going on inside the house. Andy was next to slip and fall off, followed by Jessie, who completely lost her balance and yelled at Amanda as she walked out of the yard. After 49 minutes, Helen fell off and also exited the backyard. Candice’s knee gave out, and she lost her balance, making Judd the Juror to get back into the game. That left Judd, GinaMarie, Elissa, and Amanda to battle it out for HoH, and Judd announced he wanted to start a clean slate with everyone. Judd dropped next. Elissa and Amanda each slipped and had amazing recoveries to remain on their platforms, but it was Elissa who caught 10 balls first and won HoH.
Inside the house, Elissa asked Judd why he was mad at her when he left, and he said he thought she had been in on him going home. He told Elissa he was starting with a clean slate and was down with anything.
None of the houseguests had any idea what Elissa would do, and Aaryn was quickly in tears in the Diary Room, figuring she was going home.
Amanda went to Elissa to see what she was thinking, and she told her she wanted Aaryn to go home this week. She added that she might have to put up Spencer, McCrae, or Amanda next to Aaryn on the block, because she needed someone who could win the Veto against her. Amanda did not like that idea and pushed her idea to put GinaMarie up with Aaryn instead, but Elissa told her she was not going to do that. Amanda went back to McCrae for a full report on their conversation, and the two of them agreed she should not push Elissa on what to do.
Everyone headed upstairs to see Elissa’s HoH Room, which had pictures of her kids, husband, and Brendon and Rachel, of course. Elissa received her yoga mat and a ton of healthy food in her HoH basket. Naturally, Elissa’s letter was from Rachel and started out with “Hey girl, hey.”
Amanda retreated downstairs to a bed to cry, feeling defeated that she couldn’t control Elissa’s HoH like she had with the others. McCrae tried to calm her down, and Amanda said she was just scared. They agreed they needed to make sure they wouldn’t end up on the block together.
Upstairs in the HoH Room, Elissa talked to McCrae, Judd, Andy, and Amanda. Elissa made it clear she didn’t want anyone else to make decisions for her. Elissa told McCrae there was no way GinaMarie would win Veto over him. McCrae said that wasn’t true because he smokes a lot, and Amanda pointed out the scenario if GinaMarie would win the Veto – she could take Aaryn down, and it would be a wasted HoH for Elissa. Amanda kept pushing that Aaryn should go up against her ally and burst into tears, telling Elissa how they had been together since the beginning, and she was afraid either she or McCrae would go home.
In the HoH Room, Aaryn worked on her nails and drank from a bottle of nail polish remover, (instead of her water bottle), as Elissa slept on her bed. Spencer read from the bottle and tried to help Aaryn as she rinsed her mouth out in the bathroom.
Judd went upstairs to talk to Elissa, who told him she wanted to get Aaryn out first, and then Amanda. The two of them thought this was the perfect time for them to start working together.
Aaryn went up to talk to Elissa and asked her if she was her target. She was in tears and offered to vote however Elissa wanted. If Elissa wouldn’t put Aaryn up this week, Aaryn offered to keep her safe for as long as she possibly could. Elissa told her she didn’t know what she was thinking.
During the Nominations Ceremony, Judd, GinaMarie, Spencer, Andy, and Amanda were all safe, leaving Aaryn and McCrae as the two Elissa nominated for eviction. Elissa told McCrae she thinks he is an awesome player and knows he will rock at the Veto. She told Aaryn that Aaryn has been targeting her since the first week and making her miserable, so now she knows how it feels. Amanda was not happy that Elissa was going against her, McCrae knew he had to fight to win the Veto, and Aaryn was once again in tears in the Diary Room, whining about how hard it is to be in the house and how badly she wants to be there.
