The “Big Brother 2013” house has been filled with controversy and negativity, as racism, sexism, bullying, homophobia, and other offensive actions have been seen taking place. Both the public and the media have lambasted a majority of the current house guests for this behavior, with a few exceptions, which is indicative of an America’s Favorite Poll that began on Sept. 8, 2013 on Big Brother Daily and WetPaint.
The winner of America’s Favorite “Big Brother 2013” player will be awarded $25,000 on the night of the show's finale, and has been determined by the public’s vote.
Big Brother Buzz, Big Brother Daily, and WetPaint all indicate that Elissa will be the winner of America’s Favorite “Big Brother 15” player as she has an overwhelming majority of votes, while the other house guests percentages of votes are miniscule.
At press, Big Brother Buzz indicates Elissa is at 48% with 123 votes, with the person behind her being Helen with only 9% or 23 votes; Big Brother Daily’s poll with over 11,000 total votes shows Elissa at the top of the heap with 62.21% and Judd next up with only 9.58%; and WetPaint shows Elissa at 50.44% of the vote, with Judd getting 12.36%.
If these three polls are any indication of how the public voted for America’s Favorite on CBS’ official website, which is now open, Elissa will be the clear winner of the title.
This would mean that America will have expressed its disdain for the unbelievably awful behavior that has gone in the house. Although some have reportedly found some of Elissa's not to their liking, she did not appear demonstrably racist or homophobic during her time in the "Big Brother 15" house and was the victim of relentless bullying for several days by Amanda, as seen on the show's live feeds, and on several televised episodes.
According to Joker’s Updates, Andy has expressed in live feeds coming from the “Big Brother 15” house that he will be extremely upset should Elissa win the $25,000, along with his cast mates, who engaged in a major round of bashing Elissa after her eviction on Thursday.
The house guests have less than two weeks left in the game, as the finale of “Big Brother 15” airs on Sept. 18.
CBS' “Big Brother” airs Wednesdays and Sundays at 8 pm ET, and Thursdays at 9 pm.
