Season 15 of “Big Brother” has been one of the most controversial yet. Many of the players have made distasteful comments throughout the several weeks they have been locked inside the house. After several weeks of ensuring her safety by joining the McCranda crew, Aaryn Gries was evicted from the “Big Brother” house by a vote of 5-0. According to an article posted August 30 by the LA Times, when confronted with the racial comments she had made, Gries blamed it all on being from Texan and joking. She took no responsibility at all.
Julie Chen has seen the comments fans have made about Season 15, and she decided to ask Aaryn Gries about comments she made that were viewed as racial and homophobic. Chen reminded Gries that all the houseguests knew that cameras would be on 24/7, and that certain things she has said have affected the way fans view her. When the eviction occurred, Gries was met with mixed reception outside of the house. After confronted with the comments she made about Andy, Candice, and Helen, Gries looked like a deer caught in the headlights.
Aaryn Gries is off to the jury house to join two of the three people she has said nasty things about. She will have plenty of time to go over the reaction she received from America, and the things she said while in the “Big Brother” house.
