'Big Brother 13' aired the finale last night. Today I was given the chance to ask Matt Hoffman some questions about the finale. Matt is from Season 12 of 'Big Brother' and he was part of the famous 'Brigade' alliance in Season 12. Oklahoma City fans find out here what Matt had to say.
Tonight we saw the winner of ‘Big Brother 13.’ Were you surprised that Rachel won or how the votes turned out?
I wasn't at all surprised that Rachel won, but the votes were kind of crazy. I thought after Dani's little speech before she put the key in that she'd definitely have picked Rachel. Also, I thought Shelly would be on Porsche's side. I find it pretty crazy that Adam wasn't taken to final two, since it probably would've been a 7-0 clean sweep!
Do you think Rachel would have lost if she had taken Adam to the end?
I think Rachel would've been the second Big Brother player ever to win in a landslide shutout victory (next to BB10's Dan).
What do you think of America’s choice as Jeff for fan favorite?
I think it's completely insane. I'm not calling "rigging" or anything at all, but I just don't see the appeal this time around. He won in Season 11, and I get that...the "charm factor" was there. But I didn't understand what was so great about him this season to be an "America's Favorite". He had a scandal that bordered on homophobia and also was cocky and misogynistic throughout the summer. I actually liked him personally, but in no way do I get how he won over the hearts of America this season!
CBS did not give Evel Dick as a choice for fan favorite. Do you think he should have been in the running for fan favorite?
I mean, he technically WAS a cast member, so I think he should have been in the running. I don't think he would have won, but it was kind of a snub to not even include him (in my opinion).
‘Big Brother’ has already been picked up for a 14th season. Do you think we will see an All Stars or just another year of the show?
I don't know that we have enough decent players since the last All Stars to fill a new All Stars cast! Haha. I always like to see fresh faces. But maybe that's because I don't think I have a shot at being back in the house anyway. :-)
