Chima Simone quits Big Brother 11 (Photo: CBS)
Whew, this just in over the night while America was sleeping, Chima Simone was quitting! The live feeds went out for an hour or so last night and when they came back there was no more Chima! She quit and will not be with Jessie in the Jury house!
This is rather an unfortunate turn of events that someone who seemed like such a strong, powerful, intelligent woman would in the end turn out to just give up and quit. The house obviously creates mental anguish and stress. This event clearly demonstrates that being in that house for so long is not as easy as many may think!
So now how does CBS deal with this? Guess America will have to wait and see, but on a positive note the producers were planning on getting rid of two house guests this week anyway so Chima saved them some trouble in that regard... Perhaps...
As Natalie said, "When they say expect the unexpected, I bet they didn't expect that!"

And this just in from CBS Entertainment Releases: "Chima has been evicted by the producers from the Big Brother house for violating the rules. She will not be part of the show's jury. Her eviction will be addressed on an upcoming broadcast of the show."

Yea I agree Wayne, she certainly has shown her true colors with this action. She's just not used to not getting things her way. I bet she was all bitching non-stop about the producers cheating and they were just as happy to see her go! Still lame to show the whole world on national TV that you are a quitter and can't hang. BB allowed her to be victimized by Russell and it must have be just like she was being raped all over again.
I wonder how they are gonna handle this from a game stand point. My guess is that they will give America a vote. When it comes to the final two America will vote on who they want to win and we will be the 7th juror. Chima would have been voted out anyway, but its unfortunate that she would not play it out. I think she saw the situation as an insult to her because of her overthrow by Jeff, then to add insult to injury, she was probably going to go home before Russ. The "strong" woman showed weakness in most everyway possible with her voluntary departure. She let down her team, her family, and CBS, but even more so she let herself down. I think that the violence that was done to her has left her with many issues. I think it probably manifests itself as anger but I think in security is probably at the root of the problem. As a BB guest I didnt care for her much. As a person, I feel compassion and sadness for what she will have to deal with the rest of her life. GL Chima

As one who has survived living in that house, I will admit that it does create a very unique type of stress... but to QUIT? Who does that?! What a loser! I wanted her out, but I just can't believe that someone would quit! Marcellas and I threatened, but we would never have actually sone it! LOSER!
Cam and YoMomma, I do feel those things are true to be said about Chima. I feel like she's also annoying with her can't be pleased unless the whole world is catering to her attitude, I feel like her mouth runs nonstop too much, and I feel like she's a quitter! I think she could have gone far in the game, I don't think she would have busted into the top two but I think should could have possibly swung final three and certainly final 4. She is smart, I have to give her that.

Are you nuts? Haven't you watched and listened to Chima the last week? Particularly since Jeff used CDT? The mental anguish was the trio of Chima, Natalie and Lydia's doing. They created it between them, they fed on it, they encouraged each other with the spoilt princess brat mentality they exhibited. Chima was a young woman who deliberately tried to get Russ so angry that he'd hit her, she flounced rules, she had disregard for personal and BB property, and flagrant disregard and disrespect for show crew. She needed to go, that AG kept her so long is the shocking thing, her quitting is the spoilt princess brat action that she's shown she prefers.

Make no doubts about it, I am happy Chima is gone, you won't find anything I've written applauding her gameplay. I think she's as annoying as any of you, I realize what she did, but I feel like the woman isn't dumb she's just annoying! And she got everything she had coming to her. Her alliance got trounced thankfully with the wizard power and her leaving just secured the power of Jeff's crew. Its all good in my book. I've always called the top two as Michele and Jeff. Vivian, the point you make about her stealing a spot from a house guest who wouldn't of quit when things didn't go her way is dead on! Having made it to the semi's of the selection process I must say it is crap that someone would quit the game after being given such a great opportunity.
@ jody, chima brought all the drama ,between russ and her, all by her self. She backstabbed russell, and was willing to throw him under the bus. Not to mention russ could had her gone when he was hoh whereas russ thought their alliance would hold up.

Jeff did something. He got rid of Jessie, and Jessie said it was the BEST MOVE Jeff could've made. It's obvious that Jessie's eviction played a huge part in Chima's meltdown. The girl does not appear to be stable. I'm glad she's gone. I don't have to hear any whining and griping, not to mention that annoying laugh.

re; Chima. Lots of people have bad things happen to them! You can dwell on it and make your life and the lives of those around you miserable, or you can pick yourself up and get over it! Overcoming adversity is what maked you stronger as a person and builds compassion for others. Chima needs to grow a set and learn how to behave like a human being!
