Big Boi releasing 'Game of Thrones' mixtape, says Outkast is not recording album

Outkast fans were treated to a little of the old good news-bad news yesterday. On the one (bad) hand, Big Boi told RevoltTV that despite their extensive touring schedule this summer, he and Andre 3000 are not working on any new music.

No, no, no. We're just doing the tour only, just for the fans,” said Big Boi.

It's just the Outkast 20th year anniversary, just a way for us to celebrate with our fans, but there's no album in the works, no."

That doesn’t mean we won’t be hearing new music from the two halves of Outkast individually. Big Boi confirmed that Andre 3000 is working on what would be his debut album as a solo artist, while Big Boi is working on a followup to 2012’s Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.

More intriguingly, Big Boi told RevoltTV that he’s working on a Game of Thrones mixtape that could be “out in the next couple of weeks." The Dungeon Family member is apparently a big fan of the HBO series and the said the mixtape will bring together "GOT" fans from all over the hip-hop community.

We got Common, Wale doing something, and I'm doing a track as well on there. And a couple surprise guests,” he said.
