It’s a large and expanding industry with a loyal and growing community who refuses to settle for the everyday mass- produced lager. And this fall, 2014, craft beer will be honored by an event fit for an industry on the rapid rise. Here are the facts:
Event: Big Brew Houston: The Craft Beer Celebration
Location: George R. Brown Convention Center, 1001 Avenida De Las Americas, Houston, TX
Date & Time: October 20- October 26, 2014 (times and locations vary- see below)
Big Brew is a weeklong event scheduled for late October and it promises to be like no other beer- themed event in Houston history. Produced by Food & Vine Time Productions, Big Brew brings you, the craft beer fan, some of the greatest craft beer from your local breweries and others across Texas and the nation. More than 1,000 different beers will be featured at Big Brew with an array of education and celebrations such as pub crawls, beer dinners, beer education seminars, and more.
Big Brew begins on Monday, October 20, 2014 with events held across the city. It continues through the week, culminating with larger events at the George R. Brown Convention Center from October 23 through October 25.

Big Brew has already received an enthusiastic response and organizers at the George R. Brown Convention Center have acknowledged this by adding a second hall to the meeting space.
