Whippet is as his name suggests. He is a whippet and American foxhound mix. He is about a year and half old. He is located at the Big Bear Animal Shelter in the San Bernardino mountains in Southern California.
Whippet would be a perfect pet for a highly active, experienced dog owner. He would make a great jogging partner as he is full of energy and enthusiasm.
Whippet would not be appropriate for a family with young children as he has not learned manners as of yet. His whole body whips around as he plays. He needs obedience training and a firm hand.
Whippet has been at the shelter since Dec. 27. He does not have much time left.
If you are interested in giving Whippet a second chance at life, you can contact the shelter at 909.866.4943. His ID is A548408. Big Bear is a small, rural shelter with few staff members. Please only call if you are serious about Whippet.
