On Jan. 15 Today Clicker reported that there will be a lovely surprise on the Valentine's Day episode of "Big Bang Theory." Johnny Galecki reports that someone will be proposing to someone on the show, and it will be a special episode. So far, the only nerdy couple that has gotten married is Howard and Bernadette. There are several interesting prospects in who could be proposing; Leonard to Penny, Penny to Leonard, Amy to Penny, Sheldon to Amy, or Amy to Sheldon. There is no saying how it will go or what the answer will be.
Galecki says that this will only be the fourth holiday themed episode that the show has done. There have been two Christmas episodes, the latest in which Penny finally declares her love for Leonard, and one Valentine's Day episode that ended with Penny, Leonard, and Sheldon getting sick. The few holiday episodes that have been done were only created in the last couple of seasons and they really struck a cord of sentimentality in viewers.
When it comes to Penny and Leonard's relationship, Johnny says that the ball is still in her court. Leonard loves her, but does she love him enough that she would move in with him? Marry him? Fans will have to tune in on Valentine's Day to see who will get the proposal and what they will say.
