Dr. Sheldon Cooper has been nothing but socially awkward since "The Big Bang Theory" started. This week's episode will prove that Sheldon's ability to make others uncomfortable is still intact Carter Matt reports on Feb. 24.
On Thursday's episode, Sheldon, Leonard, and Howard will be going to a middle school to talk to a classroom of girls about their careers. In true Sheldon fashion, he dresses in his tacky plaid suit and likely insults the girls' intelligence with his lack of sarcasm, and his large vocabulary that may be above their heads.
Howard tries to impress the young women by wearing his NASA jacket to their classroom presentation even though he no longer works with NASA. It likely isn't that impressive as Howard is not the ladies man that he seems to think he is.
Fans will also finally get to hear exactly what Leonard does. Of everyone in the show, we know least about what Leonard does. Nobody is sure whether that is by design or accident, but visiting the middle school will force Dr. Hofstadter to look at how he is using his doctorate and whether that's really the best choice for him.
Like every other attempt Sheldon has made at teaching, this will likely be hilarious. Hopefully he stays off Twitter to read about his accomplishments according to his "students."
