A representative for “The Big Bang Theory’s” Simon Helberg recently confirmed that the 33-year-old star and his wife, Joycelyn Towne, 37, welcomed their second child, a boy, on April 23. The baby’s name is Wilder Towne Helberg. Wilder will be keeping his big sister Adeline, 2, company.
Although the proud parents, who married in 2007, managed to keep the news secret from much of the world, they did spill the beans in a Reddit Q&A on June 12. The couple wrote, “made 2 babies and 2 films in the last 2 years.”
Helberg is best known for his role as Howard Wolowitz, the big buckle belt wearing former ladies man wannabe, on CBS’s hit sitcom “The Big Bang Theory.” Prior to reaching success on “The Big Bang Theory,” Helberg, who is also gifted as an voice impressionist appeared on “Sabrina the Teenage Witch,” “ Arrested Development”, “MADtv” and “Less Than Perfect.”
This is certainly added good news for the California native whose hit CBS show has been extended for at least another three seasons. It would be interesting to see Helberg's character Howard become a dad on the series. Helberg has been a part of "The Big Bang Theory" since it's premiere in 2007 and the smash series is constantly recognized for its brilliant comedy writing and outstanding cast.
"The Big Bang Theory" also stars: Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Melissa Rauch, Kunal Nayyar, Kevin Sussman and the loud scratchy voice of Carol Ann Susi as Howard's demanding mother Mrs. Wolowitz.
