Relations grew and were challenged on the Jan. 31 episode of “The Big Bang Theory.” The episode, titled “Cooper-Kripke Conversion,” had a fight between newlyweds Howard and Bernadette and Shelton admitting to Penny that sex with Amy Farrah Fowler is a “possibility.” Love might even be in the air for Raj soon, according to a Jan. 30 Entertainment Weekly report.
The show has three romantic relationships happing: Sheldon Cooper and Amy, Howard and Bernadette and Leonard and Penny. Many fans feel the most interesting relationship blossoming on the show is the friendship between Penny and Sheldon.
The two are an unlikely pair, which seems to work for them. They each baffle the other, but have grown to accept their differences most of the time. Penny works hard to understand Sheldon and is straight with him when he’s behaving inappropriately.
Now we see that Sheldon trusts her beyond letting her sing him “Soft Kitty” when he’s sick. He admitted to her that he has warm feelings for Amy and is working to overcome his issues with physical touch in hopes of being intimate with her one day. Penny was shocked by both the confession and that he opened up to her about it.
