After making music together for ten years the country duo Big and Rich will release their fifth studio album ‘Gravity’ to listeners on September 23, 2014. The album is sure to be filled with their unique influence of country music. Country fans last heard from the duo with their Warner Brothers release ‘Hillbilly Jedi’ but this time the duo has decided to release the new collection of music on their own label Big and Rich Records.
Their current Top 40 hit ‘Look at You’ will be included on the new disc as well as the selection ‘Lovin’ Lately’ featuring country hit maker Tim McGraw. During the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, TN back in June 2014 John Rich stated that he “did not want to make fans wait nine months to hear new Big and Rich music” which explains the reason to the new label the duo has formed.
Big and Rich has been touring this summer to generate buzz about the upcoming project and allow fans to enjoy their high energy performances. Singles like ‘Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy’ and ‘Love Train’ made the music executives on Music Row take notice of the odd duo and paved the way for a new trend of Outlaw Country Music in Nashville. Big Kenny and John Rich decided to follow their own path in music and formed a collective group of artists in Nashville dubbed The Muzik Mafia which included painters, soul singers, bluegrass artists and spoken word artists.
Radio has turned their focus on the new bro-country with groups like Florida Georgia Line and artists like Luke Bryan but Big and Rich area ready to see if their music still will find a way to listeners and fans of the genre. Be sure to pick up or download a copy of ‘Gravity’ by the duo on September 23, 2014 to hear the music these two boys enjoy making.
