Bid on beautiful video game sketch art to benefit the American Red Cross

1UP is putting up the original sketches they acquired for their made-to-order print magazine for auction on eBay. The stunning collection of artwork spans games of all different genres and interests, going from Gears of War to Bioshock Infinite to Lumines: Electric Symphony to Super Meat Boy to even Doshin the Giant.  The sketches came from artists and producers who worked on their respective games and franchises, with some independent artists also making contributions. All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross.

Each of the auctions made available consists of games that have some sort of tangential relationship.  For example, the shooters group will have pieces from Halo and Borderlands, while platformers have beautiful sketches from games like Crash Bandicoot (I know) and Mario (better).  From a historical sense, the indie pack might be the best of all, as it has the very first sketch of Meat Boy ever created by Team Meat's Edmund McMillen.

There is one more day to go for these auctions, so you will want to put your bids in now.  Although it would have been nice to pick up these sketches individually, it's hard to complain considering how hard the 1UP crew had to work to accumulate all of these pieces.  It's not as simple as asking an artist or a developer, I would imagine.
