Bid on an Allard, Bentley, Fiat or a Rolls-Royce (Photos)

Amelia Island, Florida attracts classic car aficionados from around the world for the Concours d’Elegance held during the second weekend in March. They come to see the classics on display on the fairways of The Golf Club of Amelia Island at Summer Beach and to participate as buyers and sellers at the classic car auctions that are an integral part of the festivities.

Auction action begins on Friday, March 8, when Gooding & Company drops the gavel on their annual auction at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation. The event is at Racquet Park located at 6800 First Coast Hwy, Amelia Island, Florida. You can preview the vehicles on Thursday, March 7th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Friday morning just prior to the auction.

Event admission is $30.00 or you can buy an auction catalog for $75.00 and get two admission tickets. Here is a list of a few vehicles of interest that will cross the auction stage:

• 1928 Bentley 4½ Liter expected to bring around $2,250,000
• 1953 Fiat 8V ($1,500,000)
• 1951 Allard J2 ($275,000)
• 1939 Rolls-Royce Wraith ($150,000)
• 1952 Fiat 500C Belvedere ($30,000)
