On May 16, 2014, bicyclists celebrated National Bicycle to Work Day in Washington Park in Cincinnati, Ohio, where businesses and cyclist gather to enjoy the bike to work day luncheon. Clifton's Pedego Electric Bikes owner, Egbert Powell, displayed his electric bicycle during the event which gets 40 miles to per charge.
As many know, May is National Bike Month and the American League of Bicyclists list several good reasons for having a bicycle to work day. Cycling is good for your health, your budget and your time. While bicycling introduces people to the ideal that cycling to work is healthy for the environment, good for you health, saves on your budget and can help avoid rush-hour gridlock, it is good for relieving stress and saving on gas as well.

Where a helmet, maintain your bicycle just as you would your car. where proper clothing, carry a water bottle and have a padlock to secure your bicycle.
Stop at stop signs and lights, signal your turns, if there is no bike lane ride on the side of the road out of the debris on the side of the road. Watch for pedestrians or motorcyclist who may not see you and ride single file if you are in traffic to form a pace line to keep you safer and give cars room to pass you and continue on.
