A Women’s Track: A special training and instructional track for Women, led by Madeleine Bonneville. This clinic is open to men and women and is designed for the entry level or intermediate level competitor or the club rider who wants to get serious about bicycle racing. The goal of this clinic is to help the rider be more competitive when racing, to have a basic understanding of USAC rules of bicycle racing, to be more comfortable in a race environment, and ultimately to be a safer rider.

The clinic will include on-the-bike skills training covering topics such as bike handling, cornering, pack riding, pace lines, and team tactics. Both on-the-bike and in-classroom instruction will be provided. All participants must have a bicycle in good working condition, helmet, and bicycle attire for the expected weather conditions. A USAC license is recommended. USAC licenses can be purchased on-site for $70.00. A light lunch with beverages will be provided. This event will be held rain or shine.
The clinic will be a minimum of 4 hours of combined classroom and on the road training.
Note: Attendees successfully completing the clinic can receive 2 race day credits to upgrade from a Category 5 to a Category 4, or two upgrade points for Cat 4 racers wishing to upgrade to Cat 3.

About the Instructors: The clinic will be led by M. Andrew Ruiz, owner and coach of Ruiz Racing, Director Sportif Zimmer Women’s Elite Cycling Team, Vice President of CBRC, and member of the CCC/Keltic Racing Team.
