The pressure is off this Valentine's day. Most people either plan elaborate events far in advance or super simple events for multiple dates far in advance or do a mad dash to figure out what to do for the guy or girl, man or woman in their life. The pressure is off. The prescription is not aspirin, its Bible Bingo!
Bible Bingo in a theatrical performance is like grandma on schnapps at the church bingo without a filter. Bible Bingo is the creation of Vicki Quade, who also created Late Nite Catechism. Bible Bingo is an interactive performance. Its about the Bingo department of the Archdiocese's giving the responsibility of raising funds for the parish. Its kind of like real life, but with a comedic twist.
The two act play, Bible Bingo, promises to make you laugh til you teet, give you a chance to win strange prizes and equally odd conversations ranging from Adam and Eve's big fumble to modern day sins. The next best thing is tickets are half price with a free signup to the Goldstar Community. Bible Bingo runs through February 28, 2014 at the Royal George Theatre 1641 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois. Full Price tickets are $31.00 and reduced rate up to $16.00. The show begins at 8 p.m. Restaurants are in walking distance from the theater. There is a choice of 12 places to dine on valentine's day.
