No Bibles at TUF 10, Did Kimbo get knocked out?
Brendan Schaub is writing a blog for MMAjunkie.com and said among other things that Bible's were banned from the house at TUF 10. He also said the feud between Quinton "Mr. T" Jackson and Rashad Evans was very read and in fact the almost hated each other, especially since Jackson is now co starring in the A-team movie and Rashad can only go to movies to watch, not star in them like Couture has, and Brock Lesnar soon will.
The first show of this season starts Sept 16 and the rumors are flying about Kimbo Slice being knocked out in his first fight at 45 seconds and also that we actually made it to the finals. Not sure what to believe, but I tend to think the first one is more likely, unless Kimbo somehow gets to face "enormous giantous" E. Fedor instead of a real MMA fighter. Time will tell, but the contestants won't so we have to wait.
Now to the good parts. No televisions, books, magazines, computers, iPods or anything else. In fact, Schaub said one fighter's request to bring a Bible into the house was denied.
"There's literally nothing to do but stare at each other," Schaub said. "I don't care how much you like a guy ... (but) it's going to create some drama. It's like 'Shawshank Redemption,' but you get a ton of free TapouT gear."
Schaub is a lifelong martial artist is the son of a "second or third degree" Tae Kwon Do black belt and karate black belt. Schaub, himself, has also won Golden Gloves and jiu-jitsu tournaments and boasts a 4-0 pro MMA record. He now trains with Shane Carwin, the next knock out victim for the Mighty Brock Lesnar. He has also played in the NFL.
"But I'm not going to take too much credit for that," Schaub said of his NFL background. "There are some legit guys like Marcus Jones, Wes Shivers and (Matt) Mitrione who actually played. ... I was just in camp. My goal was always to become a fighter."
Schaub also said that Kimbo was a great cook, and a good guy. Sounds like he didn't get to fight him.
"Kimbo is a great guy," Schaub said. "There was all this stuff about how ghetto he was. But he really is a humble family guy, not to mention he was the best cook in the house. Just a phenomenal cook. I told him if he opens a steakhouse in Miami, I'll invest in it."
He thinks that Mr. T and Rashed do indeed want to have a real fight.
"On the dot, they'd go at it," he said. "They really have problems with each other. ... They really can't stand each other."
But for all the drama and sacrifices and boredom, Schaub said he'd absolutely do it again. While some fighters dismiss "TUF" as one of the worst experiences of their life, Schaub loved it, largely because of the possibilities it presented to become a better fighter.
"It's the best experience I've ever had," Schaub said. "It was the opportunity for a lifetime. I'd do it again for sure."

Fedor would beat every fighter in TUF 10 in the first round . He could probably beat 4 of them in the same day , any 4 . He is the best fighter in the world 13-0 against UFC fighters and 7-0 against UFC champs . He beat Nog and Cro-Cop in their primes . Coleman still fights in the UFC and Fedor beat him twice in the first round! UFC HW division is garbage , all they have is Brock .
