Biaggi's offers a good chain experience and affordable prices

Biaggi's is certainly not your typical Italian restaurant  with wax-covered Chianti bottles, checkered tablecloths, and Mama's famous spaghetti and meatballs as the draw. Here you will find white tablecloths, leather booths and urban (suburban) contemporary warmth.

The atmosphere reminds me very much of  Maggiano's with the dark woods and white table clothes but Biaggi's differentiates themselves with a more adventurous menu.  They offer a variety of dishes including: Carpaccio, Lobster Fettuccine, Rigatoni Bolognese, Eggplant Parmesan, Tilapa Florentine, Pork Osso Buco and for the traditional lover Spaghetti & Meatballs.

The prices are reasonable and the server was friendly, attentive and quick with the bread bringing which I very much enjoyed. Overall, for chain Italian housed in a mall out in the burbs, I give it a thumbs up. All members of my party enjoyed their various dishes and gave it a nod of approval. I wouldn't expect to be blown away but I think you'll leave stuffed and satisfied.

Biaggi's has locations in Eden Prairie and Maple Grove. They take reservations, have a nice bar area and have private rooms that are good for groups.

Puhleeze, there is NOTHING authentic about Biaggi's or the now defunct Maggianos. Both are little more than glorified Macaroni Grill or Olive Garden chains. Bad sauces, salty, bread, salad and phony Italian atmosphere. Geez.

Forgot to mention, they are both SUBurban contemporary at best. Nothing urban about them. Maybe you should try some urban Italian to try and find the real thing, if it even exists here.
