Bi-weekly News Roundup: June looks like the new November for releases

Did you hear, did you hear? Wait, no, you wouldn't have because there is nothing to hear. Ah, yes, sadly the past two weeks have been pretty bland for news except for some cool release dates. But really it's to be expected after the hype train moved on after the PS4 announcement. Perhaps, the next two weeks will be better. Anyway, here’s your Bi-weekly News Roundup.

  • Sad to say, but 1UP along with Gamespy and UGO have closed down, but servers are still up and running for now
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 Remix is heading to the US this Fall
  • Isaac from Dead Space and Zeus from God of War are coming to Playstation All Stars along with a level inspired by The Unfinished Swan
  • Remember Me is set to release on June 4
  • Indie RPG and PSN exclusive, Rainbow Moon, is getting a sequel entitled Rainbow Skies
  • Metro: Last Light is set to release on May 14, making it the first previously owned THQ property to see the light of day since they shut down
  • If you didn’t see my article or video earlier in the week, or heard in general, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was announced for October 29
  • Kellee Santiago, who worked on Journey, has been snatched up by the Ouya team to lead developer relations
  • BattleBlock Theater, the indie game from the creators of Castle Crashers, was announced to release sometime this Spring
  • Beyond: Two Souls cast Willem Dafoe as a role in the game and they also announced it will be releasing on October 8
  • Deus Ex: Human Revolution may be coming to the Wii U and there may be a sequel in the works for next-gen systems as well
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows was announced as a downloadable game for PC, PSN, and XBLA and is set to release this summer
  • Lost Planet 3 is set to release on June 25
  • Tomb Raider will be getting 3 new multiplayer maps on March 19
  • Borderlands 2’s next DLC will include a new Vault Hunter
