Bezic gives Yuna Kim high praise

According to the Sochi 2014 website on Wednesday, reigning Olympic champion Yuna Kim off South Korea has the lead after the ladies short program with 74.92 points.

One person who was extremely impressed with Kim's performance was Canadian choreographer Sandra Bezic of Toronto who is working with NBC Sports at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.

While watching Kim's performance, Bezic, who has choreographed performances for Kim in the past, stated "she maybe one of the greatest competitors I've ever witnessed."

In the short program, Kim skated exquisitely, and proved to the world she should be considered a gold medal contender.

The fact that Kim is a gold medal contender is interesting just because she has not competed much since winning the Olympic gold medal at the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. However Kim did prove she would be a serious contender in Sochi when she won a gold medal at the 2013 World Figure Skating Championships in London.
