The new “Bezerk” Eminem track has gone viral following the MTV VMAs 2013, as a trailer for the Marshall Mathers LP 2 (accompanied by a not so subtle advertisement for Beats by Dre) has taken the Internet and rap fans by storm.
The trailer for the new song “Bezerk” by Eminem shows Em with blond hair, rapping in front of a massive boombox. The footage in the trailer looks almost like home video found footage, where viewers are treated to images of a man riding a bike, along with shots of what appears to be riots.
The single for “Bezerk” officially debuts tomorrow.
As for Eminem’s brand new album, it will be a follow up to his biggest and most successful. Debuting in the early 2000s, the Marshall Mathers LP took the world by storm, solidifying the fact that Eminem was a rap force to finally be taken seriously.
On songs like “Stan,” he showed his creative talent, and yet with brutally honest tracks like “The Way I Am,” Eminem showed why being rich and famous isn’t always the wonderful life everyone assumes.
Coming November 5th will be a sequel to that album, aptly titled “The Marshall Mathers LP.” Many rap fans consider the original to be one of the best records of the past 15 years, so attaching a brand new album to that classic is already going to enhance rap fans’ expectations for Eminem in 2013.
Over the past few years, Eminem has released albums like “Relapse” and “Recovery.” Following the release of the “Marshall Mathers LP,” Eminem dropped “The Eminem Show” and “Encore,” the latter of which was considered to widely be a disappointment in the hip-hop community.
