Insomniac Events announced today that the 4th edition of their Beyond Wonderland festival, will be held at San Manuel Amphitheater. Tickets for the event will go on sale February 4th at noon.
Insomniac Events recently ran into some issues with the National Orange Show in San Bernardino, (the venue where almost all of their events have been held for year) after failing to address ongoing complaints of noise. Police Chief Robert Handy stated that during Escape from Wonderland in October, Pasquale Rotella refused to turn the music down.
"The promoter was receiving a lot of negative feedback that the music wasn't loud enough, and they felt they were going to lose money, so they refused to turn the music down," Handy said. "They basically told us `you do what you want to do but we're going to do what we have to do to turn a profit."'
Kudos Pasquale!
Insomniac Events will apparently be sharing the grounds with Live Nation, who also had plans to use the venue four times per year.
San Manuel Amphitheater, formally known as the Glen Helen Pavilion, Hyundai Pavilion, and the Blockbuster Pavilion, is the largest outdoor amphitheater in the nation with a capacity of 65,000.
