It goes without saying: PlayStation 3's newest exclusive, Beyond: Two Souls, developed by Quantic Dream, is not your average game. Much like the studio's previous title, Heavy Rain, Beyond features unique gameplay focused on quick-time events and simplified character interactions, making it feel almost as if you are playing a high-end film.
It is for that reason that Beyond: Two Souls attracts both gamer's and non-gamer's alike. However, as simplified as the controls may be, the DualShock controller can make playing the game a bit of a hassle for those non-gamer's who would like to give it shot.
In an attempt to give that demographic a control scheme they might be a little more accustomed to, Quantic Dream created Beyond Touch, a free app available now for both iOS and Android devices that enables users to play through Beyond: Two Souls using a gameplay interface "specifically designed for touch screen devices."
Beyond Touch is also available in Duo mode, where each player has the option of using either a DualShock controller or the app.
