Beyonce flaunts sensational physique on GQ cover: Her fitness secrets

Singer Beyonce Knowles shows off her sizzling physique on the February 2013 cover of GQ.

In the stunning cover, Beyonce is nude except for a tiny cut-off jersey top and red underwear. Her gym-toned physique and flat abs are on full display, as is her radiant skin.

Amazingly, it was just one year ago that Knowles gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Shortly afterward, Beyonce lost 60 pounds by dieting, breastfeeding and working out five days a week.

"I counted calories," Beyonce, 31, told People. "I did a lot of walking in the beginning and now I'm running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn't just go right from being pregnant to running.

"There are no secrets [to weight loss]. It takes discipline! I've been working really hard. Be sensible and exercise constantly."

Knowles, who's married to to rap mogul Jay-Z, said her beauty secret is eating well, taking care of her skin and getting enough rest.

“Even if you’re blessed with good skin, you still have to take care of it,” said the 16-time Grammy winner. “Eating well, drinking lots of water and getting lots of rest all help with my skin."
